Choose nail stamps and pritchels according to the nail head and the task. For a fuller, consider the shape, handle and, where applicable, right- or left-handed orientation.

The tool designation must match the intended operation. A nail stamp, pritchel and cold chisel are not equivalent tools, even when used at the same forging station.
